The Special Memorial Day Service is held each year on the Sunday before Memorial Day. The congregation gathers in front of the church and walks in a procession from the Bushkill Church to the Non-Denominational Church located at the intersection of Bushkill Road and Church Road. The congregation gathers in the cemetery at the church for a prayer service after which the American Legion Firing Squad provides a 21 gun Salute.
Finally, the children lay flowers on the graves. The congregation again walks in a procession to the Bushkill Church cemetery and the same procedure is followed. The congregation then enters the church for the worship service.
The Harvest Home Special Service is usually held the second Sunday in September.
The congregation is asked to bring food items to the church prior to the Harvest Home Special Service. The food items are then placed in baskets and donated to the Salvation Army or less fortunate families that the church is aware of.
Thanks to Lily Hardy, the donations of food by the congregation are displayed in an array of colors. Many of the items, such as pumpkins, squash, etc. came from Lily's garden.
